teppanyaki
2004年5月21日When I talked to one of my flatmates about Japanese food, he said he wasn’t so interested in it.
He is a native, but he really likes Asian food.
Nevertheless, he doesn’t like Japanese food so much.
So I asked him what Japanese food he’d eaten before.
I didn’t want him to judge Japanese food by only sushi or something.
But when I asked him if he’d tried “teppanyaki”, he said “It’s not Japanese food originally, it’s from America even though Japanese has improved it as Japanese style.”
Yes, he was right…
Well, he knew about Japanese food more than I’d thought.
So there was nothing to say anymore…
That’s really a shame, isn’t it!?
