cry for the moon
2004年6月25日Well， I spoke a lot of Japanese yesterday. For me， nothing compares to speaking Japanese， after all. It’s not only because of a language barrier， but also a culture barrier.
No matter how hard I learn English， I cannot be a native English speaker….
Anyway， speaking to Japanese people in Japanese really makes me relieved. That’s true.
Nevertheless， I’m sure I’m going to miss my flatmates soon. Tomorrow， I’m leaving here and will be staying in Japan for 3 weeks. Yes， it’s not so long. But some of them are also leaving here and will never come back， while I’m not here… but not even so， I would miss life here while I’m in Japan as well. In the end， it’s just “cry for the moon”.
Well， in reality， this experience may be one of the most precious experiences in my life. I know it， but it’s difficult for me to feel it all the time. I mean I can speak Japanese as much as I want when I go back， so only in the limited time， I don’t have to do it， right? But even so， I still miss it all the time while I’m here. Well， I should be more determined， shouldn’t I?
